The late-season snowstorm that blanketed Neepawa and the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford has ended, with Environment Canada lifting its Special Weather Statement as of April 1, 2026.
The alert, issued on March 30, warned of 10 to 15 centimetres of snowfall across the region. The statement has now been withdrawn. Early Wednesday morning, temperatures in the area dropped to -14.4°C.
The week ahead shows a gradual warming trend, with highs climbing from -1°C on Wednesday to 4°C by Sunday, though flurries remain possible Thursday night.
