Camrose Kodiaks goaltender Connor Knorr has been named to the Bunge Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division All-Rookie Team for the 2025-2026 season. The 19-year-old athlete from Sherwood Park, Alberta, earned the recognition through a vote held by the general managers and coaches of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
Knorr, who wears jersey number 31 for the team, stands 180 centimetres tall and catches left. Before joining the Camrose Kodiaks, the goaltender demonstrated his talent in the U18 AAA league, where he was named a first-team all-star after posting a 2.22 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage over 22 regular season games.
The selection comes during a busy time for the Kodiaks organization, which is led by general manager Eric Kroetch and head coach Geoff Walker. The team, which has been a staple in Camrose since 1997, is currently competing in the 2026 playoffs with a first-round series against the Drumheller Dragons that began on March 20, 2026.
The Kodiaks play their home games at the EnCana Arena, which holds approximately 2,300 spectators. The franchise holds a significant history in the region, including five league championships and a national title won in 2001.
