The Halton Regional Police Service has arrested and charged a 42-year-old Burlington man following a drug trafficking investigation that began in February 2026. Trevor Herdman was taken into custody on March 23, 2026, after investigators identified a package containing cocaine being shipped through Canada Post.
Following a search of the residence and vehicles connected to the suspect, police seized 13 grams of cocaine, a stolen Dodge pickup truck, approximately 70,000 illegal cigarettes, a crossbow, and fraudulent Ontario license plates. Herdman currently faces numerous charges, including trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, tampering with a vehicle identification number, and trafficking contraband tobacco. He was also charged with possessing a crossbow while prohibited and driving while under suspension.
At the time of his arrest, Herdman was on federal statutory release for previous convictions related to drug trafficking and stolen property. He was held in custody in Milton to await a bail hearing.
