Residents looking for an afternoon of music and socializing are invited to an Old Time Dance in Beausejour on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
The event is being organized by the Ste. Rita Friendly Hands C.C. and will take place at the Brokenhead River Community Hall, located at 320 Veterans Lane. Doors are open from 2 PM to 5 PM, and tickets are $15 per person.
The community hall, which is operated by the Brokenhead River Recreation Commission, provides space for up to 875 guests for local gatherings. The dance offers a chance for community members to gather and enjoy traditional music in a social setting.
The organizers are based out of the hamlet of Ste. Rita, located in the Rural Municipality of Reynolds. The club, which serves as a central gathering place for its community, is led by president Marcel Pelletier, vice-president Willy Pelletier, treasurer Nancy Garand, and secretary Sarah-Jane Marquez-Hicks (as of January 2023).
