According to Environment Canada, Monday and Tuesday will see daytime highs of 6°C and 0°C respectively, with a chance of flurries both days. The cold will be particularly noticeable overnight, with temperatures expected to drop to -7°C on Monday night and -8°C on Tuesday night. Wind chill values will make the air feel even colder, reaching -7°C and -5°C, respectively.
While the week begins with these cold conditions, the forecast indicates a significant warming trend will take hold by mid-week. Temperatures are set to rise to a more comfortable 8°C on Wednesday, followed by a spring-like high of 16°C on Thursday. Although there is a 30 percent chance of showers by Thursday, the overall shift will provide a relief from the sub-zero temperatures observed early in the week.
