Registration is currently open for the 2026 summer camp programs in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, offering activities for children and teens. The City of Fort Saskatchewan is encouraging residents to sign up early, as spots in these popular programs are filling quickly.
The city offers a wide range of programming, including Kinder Camps for ages 3-5, Discovery Camps for ages 6-11, and a Leaders in Training program for youth. This year’s options feature science discovery themes, such as Mad Scientists and Science Unleashed, as well as sports like soccer, flag football, basketball, and volleyball. Other activities include junior golf, gaming, theatre, and multi-sport sessions.
Discovery Camps for children are held at the Fort Saskatchewan Golf & Curling Club and include day trips to regional attractions, including the Telus World of Science, the Edmonton Valley Zoo, the Royal Alberta Museum, Millennium Place, Elk Island National Park, and Fort Edmonton Park. Families should note that the new drop-off time for both Kinder and Discovery camps is 8:00 am. Discovery camps typically run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with all programs ending at 1:00 pm on Fridays to allow for staff training and planning.
Pricing for the programs varies, with Discovery Camp weeks ranging from $200 for three-day weeks to $250 for four-day weeks. Individual one-day camps cost $50, and the three-session junior golf program is $150. Officials advise that decisions regarding the viability of specific programs are made one week before their start dates.
Registration is available through the city’s GoLeisure online portal. Residents can also register by phone by calling the Dow Centennial Centre at 780-992-6400 or the Harbour Pool at 780-992-6162. In-person registration is accepted at City Hall, the Dow Centennial Centre, or the Harbour Pool.
