Residents looking for employment opportunities will have the chance to meet with regional employers later this week as Chestermere hosts its annual spring job fair. The event is set to take place on April 29, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Chestermere Regional Community Association, located at 201 West Chestermere Drive.
The fair is co-presented by Prospect Human Services, the Chestermere Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Chestermere. Organizers have confirmed that at least 14 employers from a variety of sectors will be in attendance, including healthcare, education, retail, non-profits, and emergency services.
Attendees can explore openings with organizations such as the City of Chestermere, Rocky View Schools, the Calgary Fire Department, and various local service providers. The event is free to attend, and job seekers of all experience levels are encouraged to bring their resumes. Additionally, a workshop focused on resume skills will be held on-site to assist participants, and refreshments will be provided by Tim Hortons.
This year’s job fair occurs as the region sees significant activity in the local workforce. According to recent federal data, the Calgary economic region experienced significant annual employment growth in Alberta.
