The City of Camrose has begun its annual summer closure of the Community Centre Fieldhouse, which will remain off-limits to the public until August 31, 2026. This seasonal shutdown includes the facility’s indoor walking track located at 4516-54 Street.
During the closure, officials are encouraging residents to utilize the indoor walking track at the Recreation Centre, located at 4412-56 Street. The city notes that track passes for the Recreation Centre are now free for all users.
The Recreation Centre, which opened in 2007, offers walking access Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Residents may also access various sports and fitness activities held within the facility’s three indoor rinks: the Encana Arena, Border Paving Arena, and Max McLean Arena.
