The Camrose Medieval Faire will return to the Camrose Regional Exhibition grounds in Camrose, Alberta, on July 4 and 5, 2026. Following an inaugural event in 2025, this second annual gathering invites residents to experience a weekend of historical entertainment and an artisan market.
Organized by Medieval Events By Amadaya, the two-day festival will utilize the facility to host live blacksmithing and forging demonstrations, along with music, dancing, and costume contests. The marketplace will showcase local handcrafted goods, with organizers ensuring that vendors focus on handmade items rather than mass-produced products.
The Camrose Regional Exhibition, which has operated as a regional agricultural and community hub since 1908, spans 103 acres. The site serves as a frequent destination for large-scale gatherings and contributes to the local economy, seeing over 50,000 visitors annually through events like the Big Valley Jamboree.
Tickets for the faire are available for purchase, with adult admission set at $15, seniors at $12, and youth aged 7 to 17 at $10. Children under seven can attend for free. Several family packages are also offered, such as $50 for two adults and three children. Attendees should note that gate pricing will increase by $5 per category. The event is listed on the national Canadian Ren Faire calendar alongside other seasonal festivals held throughout Alberta.
