Residents in Sandy Bay, Manitoba, have a new opportunity to win a prize through a community contest at the Ahdiyaamik gas bar and grocery store. The shop is entering customers into a prize draw for any purchase made between now and the end of the month. The grand prize is an OTG Elite electric bike.
The contest officially opened to shoppers on April 30, 2026. Anyone who visits the store, located off Highway 50 just north of Highway 16, is eligible to participate. The winner will be selected on June 1, 2026.
Ahdiyaamik, which is owned and operated by the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, serves the community on the western shore of Lake Manitoba. The business previously operated as a cardlock gas bar before undergoing a rebranding in August 2024 to expand its services to include groceries.
