The Camrose & District Chamber of Commerce is preparing for a busy summer season by seeking community support for upcoming local events in Camrose, Alberta.
Residents looking to participate in community festivities can sign up to volunteer for the upcoming Jaywalkers Jamboree. The event, which is Alberta’s oldest outdoor fair, will transform 50th Street into a pedestrian-only zone from June 5 to June 7, 2026. The festival will feature carnival rides, food vendors, live entertainment, and family activities. While vendor registration for the event is now sold out, the Chamber is actively recruiting volunteers to assist in the three-day celebration.
Admission to the festival is free for all attendees. Those planning to enjoy the midway rides can purchase advance wristbands for $45 per person per day until June 4 at 4:00 PM. Wristbands purchased on the day of the event will be $55.
The Chamber has also updated its Ca$h MOB program, which encourages residents to support local businesses through monthly shopping events. These gatherings have been rebranded as After Work events and now take place on the first Wednesday of every month. The Chamber, which represents over 345 member businesses, is based out of the Bill Fowler Centre at 5402 48 Avenue.
