The River Run Centre in Guelph is hosting a public event to unveil its upcoming 2026-2027 season of performances on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10 a.m. Residents are invited to the venue, located at 35 Woolwich Street, to get an exclusive first look at the new lineup of music, dance, and comedy shows.
Those who attend the event will gain exclusive presale access to purchase tickets for the upcoming season before they go on sale to the general public. The venue, which is owned and operated by the City of Guelph, overlooks the Speed River and features both a 786-seat main stage and a 225-seat studio theatre.
The upcoming season announcement is supported by season sponsor Richardson Wealth. Additionally, educational programming and school performances at the centre are sponsored by Linamar for the Performing Arts, which aims to provide access to arts education for local students.
For budget-conscious attendees, the venue continues to offer sliding scale pricing options for select shows, with tickets available for as low as $10 or $20. Program Manager Kasia Rusiniak oversees the planning for these performances, building on a history of programming that has brought a wide variety of music and stage acts to the city since the facility opened in 1997.
