The Big Little Run returns to Guelph Lake Conservation Area on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with 450 registered participants set to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph.
The event offers 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances, starting at 8:00 AM EDT at 7743 Conservation Road in Guelph. Courses wind through paved and gravel roads with views of the lake, beaches, forests, and surrounding farmlands.
As of mid-September, participants have raised $8,134.66. All proceeds support the organization’s mentoring programs, which serve more than 600 youth in Guelph and nearby communities including Aberfoyle, Ariss, Eramosa, Morriston, Puslinch, and Rockwood.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph has provided mentoring since 1968, supported by over 300 volunteers who contribute more than 21,000 hours annually. New this year is a Wellness Village featuring Natural Choice Medical Clinic, offering taping, massage therapy, and recovery support for runners.
Registration is full, but supporters can still donate through the event page. The run is rain or shine, with staggered starts for each distance.
