The Families First Society in Fort Saskatchewan is offering residents a chance to enjoy social activities without alcohol this coming long weekend. The organization is hosting a Sober Dance on May 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., providing a community-focused environment for those looking for healthy recreational options.
This event is part of a larger day of community programming in Fort Saskatchewan. Earlier that same day, the society will hold a Blanket of Remembrance Pipe Ceremony at 12:00 p.m. Both events are open to the public as the community heads into the Victoria Day long weekend.
The Families First Society is a charitable organization that supports more than 900 families across the city and the Sturgeon Region. Led by Executive Director Jacqueline Dagneau, who has served in the role since June 2020, the group provides a range of services including parenting programs and family support.
