Grade 12 students at École Edward Schreyer School in Beausejour, Manitoba, still have opportunities to apply for community-based scholarships as they prepare for their graduation ceremony on June 23, 2026.
While the school’s main consolidated scholarship application for the 2025-2026 year closed on May 9, 2025, several independent local scholarships remain open for students to pursue throughout May. These include the Lac Du Bonnet Ice Fishing Derby Bursary with a deadline of May 14, the EMCA Scholarship and the Brokenhead River Community Foundation scholarship, both due May 15. Additionally, the Neal Stoesz Memorial Scholarship is available until May 22, and the Matthewson & Co. Bursary remains open until May 29.
Students who need official transcripts to complete their applications should contact the school office at 204-268-2423 and ask for Mrs. Selch. The school advises that applicants allow a few business days for these requests to be processed.
Located at 85 Fifth St, the school is part of the Sunrise School Division. It serves approximately 740 students from grades 6 through 12, offering both English and French Immersion programs.
