The Nisku Energy Show returns to the Silent Ice Center in Nisku, Alberta, on May 27 and 28, 2026. Organized by the Leduc, Nisku & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event highlights the region’s role as a major energy services industrial hub.
This year’s exhibition has expanded to include a second arena and a dedicated space for a Trades Career Fair to help meet growing demand in the energy sector. The career fair will be open to job seekers both days from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event officially begins with an opening ceremony and breakfast on May 27 at 7:30 a.m., and the public is invited to attend a pancake breakfast on May 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The Nisku Energy Show, now in its second year, serves as a platform for local businesses to showcase innovation and connect with industry leaders. Jennifer Garries, CEO of the regional chamber, noted that the success of the inaugural 2025 event confirmed the area’s importance to the future of Alberta’s energy industry. With over 1,200 members, the chamber aims to support regional business development through such initiatives.
Leduc County Mayor Tanni Doblanko encouraged members of the public to attend the exhibition even if they do not work directly in the energy sector. She noted that the event provides a chance to learn about local industrial expertise and find potential opportunities within the field.
The Nisku Business Park, which hosts the event, is home to more than 800 businesses and over 6,000 workers. As the largest developed energy services industrial park in Canada, it remains a significant economic driver for the region.
