The fifth annual Harvest Moon Music Festival returns to Pijinuiskaq Park in downtown Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, this September. The three-day event, running from September 17 to September 19, 2026, features free outdoor musical performances intended to encourage residents to explore and support downtown businesses.
The festival is organized by the Town of Bridgewater and Arby’s Bridgewater. The town continues its commitment to local programming with an annual investment of over $99,000 toward community events, including this festival and the recurring concert series held at the same riverside venue.
Friday evening’s lineup begins at 6 p.m. with The Lamplighters, followed by a performance from the South Shore rock band Cut, Split & Delivered at 7:15 p.m. Saturday’s musical schedule features opening sets from Steven Dicks and Danny Pink at 5 p.m., and singer-songwriter Christina Martin at 6 p.m. The evening concludes with a headlining performance by Juno award-winning musician and member of the Order of Nova Scotia, Joel Plaskett, at approximately 7 p.m.
Located on King Street along the LaHave River, the park site has been a hub for community gatherings since its opening in 2017. Residents are invited to attend the performances at no cost.
