The Niverville Recreation & Wellness department has released its 2026 Summer Leisure Guide, giving residents a look at the various activities, events, and programs offered in Niverville, Manitoba, from May through August. The guide, which became available on May 15, 2026, includes details on arts and culture classes, drop-in sports, and summer camps for local youth.
Families looking to sign up for these general programs can begin registration on May 20, 2026. This date provides residents with five days to review the catalog and plan their summer schedules. While general program registration starts next week, registration for summer camps, which are designed for children ages 3 to 13, opened separately on March 1, 2026.
The summer camps feature weekly themes that change throughout the season, incorporating various activities, special guests, and events to engage participants. Teresa Mistelbacher, the Camps and Recreation Programmer for the Town of Niverville, oversees the planning of these youth programs.
Residents can view the guide online or pick up a printed copy at the Niverville Community Resource and Recreation Centre (CRRC), located at 501 Centre St. The facility, which is a 99,000 square-foot multi-use building, has served as a central hub for the community since it opened in July 2021.
As the town prepares for the season, the CRRC will shift to reduced summer hours from June 14 to August 17. During this time, the centre will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
