Wetaskiwin County is putting on a community bus trip so residents can take in an Edmonton Riverhawks baseball game on July 7, 2026. The trip costs $40 a person and includes the bus ride to RE/MAX Field in Edmonton for a 1:05 p.m. game between the Riverhawks and the Nanaimo NightOwls.
The County of Wetaskiwin No. 10 has arranged pickups in Buck Lake, Winfield, Falun, and Lone Ridge, and pickup times will be shared with those who get tickets. Only County residents can buy tickets, and the seats are limited and non-transferable. You can’t buy a ticket for someone who lives outside the County.

The Edmonton Riverhawks, who play in the West Coast League, are at 20 wins and 8 losses so far this season. The team started playing at RE/MAX Field in 2022 and has set league records for attendance during the regular season. The Nanaimo NightOwls from British Columbia joined the league the same year and play their home games at Serauxmen Stadium.
