Thompson RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 26-year-old woman last seen in the city more than a week ago. Shyanne Dorion was reported missing at 11:00 pm on May 23, 2026, after she did not return to a home on McGill Place in Thompson, Manitoba. Police say they are concerned for her wellbeing.
Dorion was last seen earlier that same day. She is described as five feet two inches tall, about 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black hoodie, white shorts and black leggings when she disappeared.
This is not the first time Dorion has been reported missing in Thompson. She was previously reported missing in February 2026 (found safe) and again in March 2026, when she was reported as a 24-year-old from Arctic Drive. The outcome of the March report has not been publicly confirmed.
Investigators are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be given directly to Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Manitoba Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or going online to manitobacrimestoppers.com.
McGill Place is a residential street on the west side of the city. The area is near Princeton Drive and is home to community resources like Hope House. Dorion’s case comes as Thompson RCMP are also handling other recent missing person reports, including those of William Brightnose and Gracelynn Spence, both last seen on May 28.
