The annual Niverville Olde Tyme Country Fair runs June 12 and 13, 2026, bringing a weekend of rides, games, and family fun to Niverville, Manitoba.
The carnival midway, run by Wonder Shows, opens Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. On Friday, an early-bird cash wristband is $35 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; otherwise, ride wristbands are $40 cash or $42 by debit or credit on Friday, and $45 cash or $47 by debit or credit on Saturday.
Wonder Shows was founded in 1963 by Henry Saluk and has been a family-owned carnival company in Manitoba for more than 60 years. Owners Ken and Anita Kiernicki purchased the company in 2000 and now run about 40 attractions at fairs across the province.
After the original August fair ended in the early 1990s, a group of volunteers revived the event in 1996 as the Niverville Olde Tyme Country Fair. Moving the fair to the second weekend in June helped it become what organizers call the kickoff to summer for the region.
Dustin Krahn, the fair committee’s general manager, says planning goes on year-round. Admission fees only cover about 40 percent of the cost, so sponsors and community support are vital to keep the fair going each year.
