The Rotary Club of The Pas is giving residents one more shot at a growing jackpot as its CATCH the Big One lottery nears a sell-out. With only 13 ticket cards left and a prize pool of $63,637.50, the club has paused sales until September 15, 2026.
Once sales resume that day, it will be a first-come, first-served scramble for the final tickets. The lottery had been running until the suspension, and organizers say the 13 remaining cards are the last chance to get in before the draw wraps up.
Money raised helps pay for programs the Rotary Club runs across the community. That includes delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors, supporting youth activities, and funding projects like the $68,150 outdoor rink lighting upgrade behind the Roy H. Johnston Arena.
The Rotary Club has been a part of The Pas since it was chartered in December 1928. It remains one of the town’s core service clubs, working alongside groups such as the Kinsmen and others on events like the Northern Manitoba Trappers’ Festival.
Club president Don McKay says the lottery is a key fundraiser that lets the organization keep giving back.
