Taber Public Library is giving younger residents two fresh reasons to visit this month, adding mystery and fairytale-themed weeks to its free Summer Reading Program starting July 14 in Taber, Alberta.
The library is currently wrapping up week two of the program with an outdoor-themed set of activities that wrap up on July 10. Next week, children aged 5 to 9 can take part in morning sessions called “The Mystery Begins,” while kids aged 10 to 14 can join afternoon sessions under the same theme. Morning sessions run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and afternoon sessions go from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
On July 21, the theme shifts to “Fairytales and Fantasy,” giving families another week of storytelling and activities at no cost. All events take place at the library, located at 5415 50 Avenue.
Parents can sign their children up by visiting the library in person or by emailing [email protected]. The library confirmed there is no charge for taking part.
