Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation is hiring for four positions in its Income Assistance P.E.S. Program, with applications closing on July 21, 2026. The roles include Program Receptionist, Program Coordinator, Intake and Assessment Worker, and Employment Transition Coordinator.
Residents interested in applying can send a resume and cover letter to the band’s Human Resources department via email at [email protected], [email protected], or [email protected]. The program operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m., providing financial support and connecting community members with employment and training opportunities.
These job openings come as the community of about 4,400 on-reserve members continues to grow. The birth rate is roughly eight to 12 births per month, and some 80 percent of residents speak the Ojibway language.
