Quispamsis families can enjoy a free outdoor movie this Thursday night as the town’s Movies in the Park series continues. The Town of Quispamsis will screen the Disney animated hit Frozen on July 23, 2026, at the Quispamsis Arts & Culture Park. The screening runs from approximately 9:05 p.m. to 11:05 p.m., starting at dusk.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to the open-air George S. Miller Stage at 12 Landing Court, next to Town Hall. The event is free of charge, and complimentary popcorn will be provided thanks to sponsorship from the Great Canadian Dollar Store, which is headquartered right in Quispamsis.
This screening is part of the town’s Movies in the Park summer series, which offers free family-friendly entertainment from May through September. The Arts & Culture Park hosts the screenings on its outdoor stage and includes amenities like washrooms, picnic tables, benches, free WiFi, and parking.
If rain or bad weather rolls in, the movie will move indoors to the qplex at 20 Randy Jones Way. The qplex is the town’s main recreation centre and features an NHL-sized ice rink, indoor walking track, and conference centre.
