A three-day Makers Market and Business Expo is coming to Pitt Meadows later this summer, giving local small businesses and artisans a chance to showcase their products to thousands of potential customers. The event runs from August 21 to August 23, 2026, at šxʷhék̓ʷnəs, also known as Spirit Square, located at 11985 Harris Rd next to City Hall and the public library.
Organized by All Small Businesses, the expo is designed to connect vendors, makers, and small business owners with the community. Each day runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with organizers expecting more than 2,700 shoppers daily.
Vendor spaces are still available, with fees ranging from $100 to $140 per day depending on booth size. A standard 10-foot-by-10-foot space costs $100, while larger spaces and food trucks pay more. Each booking includes an eight-foot table and two chairs. Interested vendors can find application details through the event listing on the All Small Businesses page.
The expo is one of several events filling Spirit Square this summer. The square, which was created in 2008 with $500,000 in provincial funding, also hosts the weekly Pitt Meadows Farmers Market every Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. through September 29. That market typically draws about 40 vendors selling everything from fresh produce to artisan barbecue sauce and sourdough bread.
Earlier in August, Spirit Square will also host the first-ever Pitt Meadows Blueberry Festival on August 9, co-hosted by the farmers market. Later in the month, a separate Summer Spirit Makers and Vendor Showcase runs August 28 to 30. Together, the events make the square a busy hub for local shopping and community gatherings throughout the season.
