Steinbach RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in a break-and-enter at a business on Highway 1 in Richer, Manitoba.
On August 9, 2026, at approximately 9:12 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter. Surveillance footage showed a male suspect crawling through a narrow, ground-level window behind an ice machine outside the building. The suspect broke the window and bent security bars to gain entry.
RCMP describe the suspect as over six feet tall with a slim build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, a facemask, and white gloves, and was carrying a dark-coloured duffle bag with a white logo.
This is not the first time the business has been targeted. The same location was broken into on July 26, 2025, and August 18, 2025. RCMP previously said they believe the same person was responsible for those two 2025 break-ins.
