Chestermere Public Library will open registration for its Fall Session 1 programs on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., giving residents their first chance to sign up for classes, clubs, and workshops running from September through October.
Registration will be done online through the library’s events calendar at chestermerepubliclibrary.com/events. The library offers programs for all ages, including storytime for babies and toddlers, STEAM activities, crafts, book clubs, English as a second language, and health and wellness sessions.
With Chestermere’s population growing rapidly, reaching 32,255 in the 2025 municipal census, demand for library programs is expected to be high. The 2026 fall session is the latest in a year-round schedule that also includes winter, spring, and summer sessions.
Alongside registration, the library is inviting residents to share their thoughts through a new community survey. Feedback will help shape future programs, facilities, and services as the library plans for a growing community.
Residents are encouraged to review the events calendar early and register promptly, as popular programs tend to fill quickly.
