The Town of Bridgewater is inviting developers, investors, and businesses to submit expressions of interest for the first two parcels of land in its new Business Park North, located next to the Highway 103 Exit 12A interchange. The call, which opened on August 18, 2026, covers Parcel A and Parcel B along Enterprise Drive, with a closing date of September 22, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. AST.
This is the first chance for interested parties to acquire land in the town-owned business park that became accessible when the $69.5 million Exit 12A interchange opened on December 20, 2024. The new interchange unlocked about 180 acres of previously inaccessible land north of Highway 103 for commercial and industrial development.
Town Council endorsed the concept plan for the park in April 2025 and approved zoning changes allowing for highway commercial, highway display commercial, and light industrial uses. Parcel A is zoned for highway commercial display, while portions of Parcel B are zoned for light industrial and highway commercial uses. All parcels sit along Enterprise Drive near the new interchange and Logan Road North.
Mayor David Mitchell called the interchange opening a game-changing project that opens more than 100 acres of land for future industrial and commercial development. The town, province, and federal government split the cost of the interchange, with the province investing $37.8 million, the federal government $20.4 million, and Bridgewater contributing $11.3 million.
