The 2026 Health and Leisure Mart will be held September 11-12 at the Thompson Regional Community Centre, giving residents a one-stop look at fitness programs, hobbies, and volunteer opportunities for the fall and winter. The City of Thompson announced the event on August 21, 2026.
Past events have run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Saturday. The Health and Leisure Mart brings together community organizations, clubs, and programs under one roof so people can sign up for activities and find out what is available in Thompson.
Groups such as the Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council regularly take part, sharing information about seniors exercise classes, drop-ins, and congregate meals at the TRCC.
The Thompson Regional Community Centre is at 274 Thompson Drive North and includes the Bill Comaskey Wellness Centre, a fitness centre and multi-sport court used for basketball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis.
