The pattern shifts earlier in the week as sunshine returns and temperatures warm significantly. Tuesday is expected to reach 27°C under mainly sunny skies, a notable warm spell for early September. A UV index of 6 means sun protection will be needed for anyone spending time outdoors. Showers are forecast to return on Wednesday with a high of 23°C.
The unsettled weather arrives as Blood Tribe students head back to school on Monday, August 31. The Kainai Board of Education is coordinating all student transportation services for the new school year.
