A 21-year-old Thompson man died early Sunday morning after the truck he was driving rolled on Highway 6 near Moosehorn, Manitoba.
Lundar RCMP responded to the single-vehicle crash at about 5 a.m. on August 23, 2026, less than a kilometre from the Highway 237 junction in the Rural Municipality of Grahamdale.
Police said the southbound truck left the road, went into a ditch, and rolled several times. The driver, a 21-year-old from Thompson, died at the scene. Five passengers had non-life-threatening injuries.
STARS air ambulance and several EMS crews attended the crash. A stretch of Highway 6 was closed for more than three hours while police investigated.
The cause of the rollover is still under investigation by Lundar RCMP.
