The Antigonish AA Munro Jr B Bulldogs secured their fifth straight Sid Rowe Division regular-season title in late February 2026. This win means the team will host more playoff games in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, giving local fans more chances to see them play at home.
Head Coach Donnie Grant and Assistant Coach Dave Cusack have led the team through its most successful era. Before this season, the Bulldogs also won the Don Johnson Cup, the Atlantic Junior B Championship, in three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025.
The Antigonish Arena serves as the team’s home ice and can hold 2,290 people for hockey games. The arena is a non-profit building owned by both the Town and the County of Antigonish.
Players like goaltender Ethan Chisholm remain key to the team’s strength as they move into the playoffs. The extra games are expected to help the arena’s budget through increased ticket and snack sales while driving more interest in local youth hockey.
