The Downtown Barrie Business Improvement Area has announced the 2026 summer dates for the Troubadour Festival, bringing live music back to the city’s waterfront in Barrie, Ontario. The official list of performers will be revealed on Monday, March 9, 2026, during a television broadcast on CTV News Barrie.
The concert series will take place over four days throughout the warmer months. Residents can look forward to music events on June 6, July 25, August 15, and September 12, 2026.
Organizers are building on a successful season last year that saw more than 15,000 visitors come to the downtown area. The festival has also been named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario by the industry group Festivals and Events Ontario.
Local shops and restaurants use these dates to prepare for a boost in customers during the festival weekends. Having these dates early helps business owners manage their staffing and inventory for the thousands of music fans expected to visit the waterfront.
