The 21st annual Barrie Waterfront Festival will take place at Centennial Park in Barrie, Ontario, from May 22 to May 24, 2026. This free community event serves as the traditional start to the summer season with three days of live entertainment and outdoor activities.
Music fans can expect a variety of tribute bands performing hits from the Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Queen, and The Tragically Hip. Along with the stage performances, the park will host several food trucks, local vendors, and a beer garden for adults.
Families can also visit the midway, which features carnival rides and games throughout the Victoria Day long weekend. The event is managed by Lido Chilelli and Claire Chilelli, who are veteran event producers.
The festival remains free to the public as it enters its 21st year at the city’s waterfront. It continues to be a staple gathering for residents looking to enjoy the lakeshore as the weather gets warmer.
