Georgian College is hosting an in-person Open House at its Barrie, Ontario, campus on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event gives future students and their families a chance to tour the school grounds, meet with teachers, and learn about different career programs.
People who attend the event can apply to the college for free during their visit. There is also a contest where visitors can enter for a chance to win up to $5,000 to help pay for their tuition costs.
The Barrie campus is becoming the main center for the school as it moves programs and services from its Orillia and Muskoka locations. This move is expected to be finished by the fall of 2026.
While the Barrie campus is the primary location for the day, the college is also holding events at the same time at its campuses in Midland, Orangeville, and Owen Sound. Visitors can explore the classrooms and see the equipment they would use while studying for their future jobs.
