The Barrie Rock N’ Gem Show is returning to Eastview Arena in Barrie, Ontario, from April 3, 2026, to April 5, 2026. This is the third year in a row the event has come to the city, bringing more than 400 tables of crystals, fossils, gemstones, and jewellery for residents to browse. This year’s show includes a special evening event where guests can see minerals that glow in the dark under ultraviolet light.
Organized by Silver Cove Ltd., the event takes over the arena floor during the time of year when the ice is removed for summer recreation. Visitors can see a wide variety of items from across the country through the company’s CanGems division. The arena, located at 453 Grove Street East, has enough space for 1,000 people and offers free parking for all visitors.
Admission to the show is $3 per person or $7 for a family, and children five years old and under get in for free. The event is open on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. According to the City of Barrie, all forms of payment are accepted for entry and at vendor tables.
The special ultraviolet mineral display will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Residents who want to attend this late-night session must reserve a spot by calling 587-377-5722. Outside of the special display, the main show features a massive selection of unique stones and fossils for both collectors and families to enjoy.
