The Barrie Police Service arrested two people from the Greater Toronto Area following a traffic stop in downtown Barrie, Ontario, on March 3, 2026. Officers stopped the vehicle in the area of McDonald and Mulcaster streets, later discovering the driver had an active warrant for his arrest.

A 43-year-old man from Brampton and a 40-year-old woman from Scarborough were both taken into custody. They face several charges, including possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
