The City of Beaumont, Alberta, is now accepting applications for its municipal Arts and Community grants to help local groups fund projects and cultural activities. Interested non-profits, artist collectives, and individual artists have until April 1, 2026, at 11:59 pm to submit their proposals through the city’s website.
The funding is divided into different categories based on the type of project being proposed. According to the Municipal Grant Funding Program guidelines, a volunteer committee reviews the Arts and Community applications. Meanwhile, the Beaumont City Council is responsible for evaluating requests for operating and major project grants.
Because the program is highly competitive, the city notes that requests often exceed the available budget and funding is not guaranteed for every applicant. To qualify, projects must align with official city goals, including the Council Strategic Plan 2022-2026 and the “Our Places and Play: Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Master Plan.”
