The City of Beaumont has confirmed that its annual Recycling Roundup will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Operations Facility located at 24130 Township Road 510.
This free community event allows residents to drop off a variety of household items in one trip. Accepted materials include electronics, paint, tires, used oil, and various hazardous and special products. The city will also provide on-site document shredding for residents who have sensitive papers to dispose of.
The Recycling Roundup is part of the broader Smart, Savvy and Green waste program, which serves more than 5,000 households across Beaumont. The event is one of several waste management initiatives happening this spring, which also include Large Item Collection from May 25 to 29, as well as separate yard waste collection periods for Zone A from May 4 to 8 and Zone B from May 11 to 15.
While the city hosts this annual roundup, Beaumont residents also have access to year-round disposal options. These include the Leduc Eco Station, where access is included in local utility fees, and the Leduc & District Regional Waste Management Facility, which allows residents to dispose of up to one tonne of waste at no cost each year. Residents may also drop off batteries at the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre.
