Fog patches over Beausejour, Manitoba are expected to clear this morning, giving way to mainly sunny skies and a high of 24°C by this afternoon. Environment Canada reports a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 percent chance of showers and risk of a thunderstorm, with southwest winds becoming northwest at 20 km/h gusting to 40 early this afternoon. The humidex will make it feel like 29°C.
Residents can look forward to a settled stretch of weather for the rest of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will be sunny with highs of 28°C and 29°C respectively, above the seasonal norm of 25°C for this time of year. Friday brings a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 24°C, but sunshine returns for the weekend with highs of 25°C on Saturday and 26°C on Sunday.
No weather alerts are currently in effect for Beausejour. While an overland flood watch remains in place for parts of southwestern Manitoba due to heavy rains west of Brandon, the town’s eastern location means it is not affected by that advisory.
