The curling season is drawing to a close in Beausejour, with the ice at the Beausejour Sportsplex set to be unavailable after April 30, 2026. This change marks the end of the winter program for the Beausejour Curling Club, which has served the Eastman Region since 1930.
Operating out of the six-sheet facility at 360 Veterans Lane, the club hosts a wide variety of activities throughout the winter months. Members participate in evening leagues for men, women, and mixed teams, alongside a drop-in program on Tuesday mornings. For those interested in stick curling, matches are held on Thursday afternoons and Friday evenings. The facility also supports youth engagement through an after-school program for children in grades 4 to 8.
As the curling season concludes, the Sportsplex will transition to reduced summer operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from April through August.
