The Rural Municipality of Brokenhead and Network 4 Change Community and Family Resource Centre are hosting their annual used toy fundraiser today, Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM at 92 3rd Street South. The event supports early years programs for local families with young children.
Residents can drop off gently used toys or browse affordable items for purchase, with all proceeds going toward Network 4 Change’s Early Years Programs. Those programs serve families with children aged 0-6 through parent-child play groups, literacy activities, and family support and advocacy.
The community resource centre has been a fixture in the Beausejour-Brokenhead area since 2005. According to the RM of Brokenhead, the fundraiser also features a hotdog, chips, and drink sale to help boost donations.
“Stop by and support our Hotdog, Chips and Drink Fundraiser too!” the municipality noted in its event announcement. The toy sale and food fundraiser offer a chance for families to connect while directly helping early childhood development initiatives in the region.
Network 4 Change operates as a non-profit community resource centre, running social programs for people of all ages. Its Early Years Programs focus on connecting families through play and providing advocacy for those with young children. Today’s event runs until 3 PM at 92 3rd Street South.
