Beausejour, Manitoba is in for a wet start to the week after a warm and partly sunny Sunday. Residents saw temperatures reach 24°C on August 23, 2026, but a weather system moving through Southern Manitoba is expected to bring a 60 to 70 per cent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.
According to The Weather Network, Monday August 24 will see a chance of a shower with a high of 24°C, and there is a risk of strong thunderstorms in the evening. Tuesday August 25 is expected to bring a few showers in the morning, with a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and strong thunderstorms possible in the evening, and a high of 22°C.
While no weather alerts are currently in effect for Beausejour, Environment Canada is warning of a tornadic storm threat for parts of Southern Manitoba on Monday evening. Southern Manitoba will be near the so-called “triple point” where cold air, warm air, and an occluded front intersect, conditions that can support severe weather development; the greatest tornado threat Monday evening is forecast for areas west of Winnipeg. Environment Canada has recently switched to a localized weather warning system, meaning warnings are now more targeted to specific areas with imminent threats.
Conditions are expected to improve by mid-week. Environment Canada forecasts clearing skies on Wednesday August 26 with a high of 24°C, and Thursday August 27 is also expected to be sunny with a high of 24°C.
