The United Way of Brandon & District is hosting its 2025 Campaign Touchdown Luncheon on April 9, 2026, to share the results of its latest community fundraising efforts with the Brandon and Westman regions. This event marks the official conclusion of the organization’s 2025 fundraising drive, which supports a wide network of local social services and programs.
The luncheon, which will be held at the Ukrainian Reading Association Hall, gives donors, volunteers, and community leaders a chance to review the impact of collective giving over the past year. It also highlights how the funds are being invested to address local needs, ranging from poverty reduction to youth support. These “Touchdown” events are a long-standing United Way tradition used to celebrate meeting specific fundraising goals and recognizing the efforts of campaign volunteers.
The Brandon Chamber of Commerce, a long-standing partner of the United Way, has supported the local business community since its incorporation in 1883. While the Chamber often promotes the luncheon to its members, the upcoming gathering is primarily focused on the donors and organizations that fund the United Way’s community-wide initiatives.
The event will feature a Ukrainian buffet lunch and is scheduled to run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tickets are available through the United Way office for $35 per person.
