The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is set to host its third biennial Pride art exhibition, featuring work from 15 local artists in downtown Brandon. The showcase, titled Making Our Mark III, will open on June 11, 2026, and run through August 1, 2026, in the gallery’s Kayes Family Community Gallery.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Brandon Pride and aligns with the theme of this year’s Brandon Pride Week, which is Brick by Brick. The project highlights work from a diverse group of local creators, including Marin Curtis, Katie Dornn, Nicole Eschak, Sarah E. Hoffman, Koda Maxon, Taliah Modderman, Jayce Paul, Priscilla Rocan, Laura Shlachetka, TJ Southam, Zara Thompson, Michael Vachon, Haley Vandenberghe, John Wesselius, and Rudy Wilder.
First launched in 2017, the exhibition series is designed to showcase the work of artists within the local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. As a registered charitable organization, the gallery offers the exhibition free of charge to the public as part of its ongoing programming.
The gallery is located on the second level of the Town Centre at 710 Rosser Avenue. Originally established in 1907 as the Brandon Art Club, the institution serves as the oldest centre for visual art in Manitoba.
