The Brandon Police Service confirmed that 23-year-old Ryan was safely found on March 25, 2026, after he was reported missing in Brandon, Manitoba. Ryan had last been heard from at 2:30 PM on March 24, 2026, which led to a search involving local officers and community members.
During the search, police were looking for a 6-foot-tall man with brown hair and green eyes. They were also searching for a silver 2014 Chevrolet Malibu with painted black rims that was associated with him. Authorities searched through the city and the surrounding rural areas before he was located.
Police officials thanked the community for sharing information and staying alert during the search. This is the second time this month that a missing person was quickly found in the area, following another search that ended successfully on March 12, 2026.
The provincial government previously committed $5.2 million to the Manitoba Integrated Missing Persons Response. This funding is designed to help different police services across the province work together to find people more quickly and improve community safety.
