The Brandon Police Service is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a commercial break-and-enter that took place in Brandon, Manitoba, earlier this spring.
On March 25, 2026, at approximately 5:20 a.m., an individual broke into a business located in the 1100 block of Richmond Avenue. According to police, the suspect gained entry through a door that was not properly latched and stole a cash drawer containing about $100.
Investigators have obtained security footage of the incident. The suspect is described as having a slender build and was seen wearing a beige jacket, blue jeans, and a face covering. The individual was also noted to have a distinctive gait. Exterior video surveillance also captured the person attempting to open the front door of an attached business.
The Brandon Crime Stoppers program is currently highlighting this incident as their Crime of the Week. Authorities are asking anyone who may have information about the suspect, or anyone who has relevant security camera footage from the area, to come forward.
