The County of Brant is holding its first ever Brant Cares Community Connection Day this Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Paris Lions Park. The free event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is meant to bring residents together while also connecting newcomers with local resources.
According to the County of Brant, the family-friendly day will have live music, food trucks, face painting, and balloon creations. The full entertainment lineup will perform at the Walter Williams Amphitheatre throughout the afternoon.
A free public swim is also being offered at the nearby Paris Community Pool between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. People are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for local food banks.
Nearly 30 community partners will set up at the park, including groups that support mental health, legal help, and newcomer inclusion. Attendees can chat with representatives from the Darmont GivesBack DGB Connect program, as well as emergency services, the library, and many others.
The Brant Cares initiative is part of the County’s commitment to a healthy, connected community. Organizers hope the event will be a chance for all residents to discover services and meet neighbours in a relaxed, welcoming space.
