Residents in Burlington, Ontario, can speak directly with local leaders about community issues during a telephone town hall on April 14, 2026. The City of Burlington will host the event from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to provide updates on local initiatives, upcoming projects, and essential services.
The city will use a system to call residents at random on their landlines or cell phones when the meeting starts. People who do not receive a call but want to take part can join the conversation by dialing 1-800-757-3578.
Mayor Marianne Meed Ward and members of the City Council will lead the discussion and listen to feedback from the community. Those who wish to be added to or removed from the automatic call list must send an email to [email protected] by noon on April 13, 2026.
Residents can also send in questions before the meeting begins. These must be submitted through a survey on the Get Involved Burlington website by 4:00 p.m. on April 9, 2026.
Accessible formats and communication supports are available upon request. The city organizes this annual meeting to give residents a way to share their concerns and learn about local projects without having to travel to a meeting hall.
